Tips on how to keep your skin healthy

As the seasons change from summer to fall, temperature changes, humidity, and UV rays tend to put stress on the skin. Here are some tips to avoid skin problems that we tend to overlook in our daily lives.

Don't touch your face with your hands
Every time you touch your face, there is a chance that dirt, oil, and germs will stick to your face. So the best thing to do is to avoid touching your face anyway. The same can be said for pimples. If you squash it or touch it, it can become infected.

Change your pillowcase
It is very important to change your pillowcase as often as possible to keep your skin clean. While you sleep, your hair and skin are in direct contact with the pillowcase.

Keep your cell phone clean
When the phone touches your face, germs may adhere to your skin. Use a sanitizing spray or sanitizing sheet on a daily basis to keep your phone clean. You can also get into the habit of using speakerphone or headphones.

Tie your hair back.
Oils and hair care products in your hair can cause all sorts of debris to stick to your hair. If this gets on your skin, it can cause breakouts, so it is recommended that you keep your hair tied back as much as possible, especially if you are exercising at the gym or sleeping.

Remove your makeup
If you sleep with makeup on, it can clog your pores and result in pimples. It can also cause dry skin, redness and itching. Before going to bed every night, make sure to clean off the makeup around your eyes and your entire face.

Avoid cosmetics that contain alcohol.
Skin care products that contain alcohol can dry out your skin. If you already have dry skin, you may look older because of your dry, flaky skin. Use alcohol-free skin care products that are more gentle on your skin.

Do your hair before applying makeup.
If you apply makeup and then use a hair dryer on your hair, the heat can melt the makeup. When it dries, it can cause makeup to clog the pores. This problem can be prevented by conditioning your hair first.

Keep your glasses clean.
If you have pimples on your nose, temples, or high cheeks, your glasses may be the cause. Just like cell phones, glasses need to be kept clean on a daily basis. Use alcohol or sanitizing paper to wipe the lenses and the vines of your glasses daily to keep them clean.

Give love to your body.
Pimples can occur not only on the face, but also on the back and shoulders. To keep your entire body clean, make sure to wash and moisturize it from head to toe. In addition, even if you don't take a shower immediately after exercising, change your sweaty clothes immediately. Wipe your sweat off with a clean towel. Wiping your face and body with a towel that has been used by the whole family is not a good idea.

If you are suffering from acne or pimples, you may want to try skin care products that are labeled as medicated. Remember, healthy skin is the most beautiful.
